On October 2, 2001, I went to the North Kingstown/Exetor Dog Pound with my friend Tim. He and I both wanted dogs.
When we walked in we immediately fell in love with Murphy - he was scared and sad and had a bad back leg, was super skinny
- but beautiful! Tim wanted him immediately. I was looking for a younger dog and saw Lucy - eager to get out of there!
Fifty Dollars later - Tim and I went back to Newport, Rhode Island where we lived with our new family! About 6
months later, Tim who was from Australia needed to move back to Sydney with his new wife and baby. It was Spring of
2002 when Murph came to live with me and Lucy.
